Si avvicina il momento di scartare i pacchi sotto l'albero, ammesso che si abbiano l'albero, i regali al di sotto e i denari per acquistarli. Il periodo non è dei migliori, in effetti. Ma, tralasciando le nefaste possibilità di trovare strani regali da parte dell'Isis o del governo Renzi, nessuno si tirerà indietro nell'occasione del rito dei doni natalizi, anche a costo di vendersi la nonna al mercatino dell'usato. Be' la crisi aguzza l'ingegno e allora ci sarà chi riciclerà qualche inutile regalo ricevuto anni prima dalla vecchia zia e mai utilizzato, chi si butterà nell'usato garantito, chi si venderà un rene pur di fare una bella figura con regali costosi e sfiziosi, e anche chi si ne sbatterà le palle del Natale, del consumismo, dei regali e delle feste tutte. Poi c'è sempre una via di mezzo, quella più ragionevole e calzante al periodo di crisi e austherity: fare un dono utile spendendo solo pochi euro. In questa categoria di regali che sicuramente non finiranno chiusi in cantina o nel cestino della spazzatura rientrano i libri, i film e la musica. Con una sporca dozzina di euro o poco più si può acquistare un bel romanzo, un dvd fresco di stampa, un cd o un vinile.
